Athens Day 1

We arrived in Athens on Saturday afternoon shattered after only having about 3 hours sleep the night before.

Not seen much yet but it looks to be a very poor place, with the most graffiti I have ever seen.

We had a pretty decent meal at the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel (which is very ordinary) and I took a few pics that didn't turn out too well but if you look closely enough at  the first pic you can see the Acropolis in the background.

We have been warned that internet access on the ship (which we board on Monday morning) is very slow so I may have to update this blog from places we stop at, or it may have to wait until we get back from the cruise.
