Pescarra - Champagne, Lobster & Prawns!

Been travelling a bit over the last few days so have a bit of catching up to do with this blog.

On Monday we arrived in the fishing village of Pescarra, which is on the East coast of Italy. I planned it this way so we wouldn't have so far to drive to Venice on the Tuesday.

We stayed at a really nice hotel in Pescarra, with welcome drinks and a 20 minute introduction to the town from the desk clerk! He recommended a top seafood restaurant that was connected to the hotel but a 5 minute walk away from the hotel itself.

The restaurant was certainly very posh and we were greeted like royalty, with the best table and the best views over the ocean. The food was very good, but the service was really bad, we had to wait 30 minutes for the bill and 20 minutes for a beer! However we did enjoy this place and below are a few pics to give you an idea.

Tradition has it that Chris has to dip her toes in the ocean where ever we go.

Either the sand was hot or Chris was angry with me. :-)
